Wrestlers Place High in Weekend Meet

The Bishop Moore Wrestling Team finished in 13th place out of 21 teams. Mario H. placed 4th overall, Gavin W. placed 3rd in his division, Sam J. and Matthew S. finished 2nd in their division. Paul R. finished 4th in his division, and James N. finished 3rd in his division.

All Smiles as Boys Basketball Returns Victorious from Poinciana

POINCIANA, FL – The Boys Basketball team (3-1, 2-1 District) defeated district nemesis Poinciana on the road, Friday night, 39-30. The stifling Hornet defense held the Eagles to 10 points in the first half, and withstood a late Poinciana offensive surge to win for the first time in this series since being re-districted in 2015.

Boys’ Soccer Blows Out Windermere Prep

The Hornets boys’ soccer team took on Windermere prep Tuesday night. The score was 8-0 for Bishop Moore. Adam scored, Cael scored, Oli scored, Max scored, Dani scored 2 goals, and Gio scored 2 as well. The Hornets won by mercy rule. Girls’ Soccer Blanks Lake Highland

The Bishop Moore Girls’ Soccer team shut out Lake Highland Prep Wednesday night by a score of 2-0. Goals were scored by Mia P. and Caroline H. The Hornets play again this Friday and Saturday in the Cure JDM Classic.
