Girls’ Golf Comes Up Short in a Strong Showing

The girls’ golf team lost a close match to Lake Highland Tuesday. Senior Erin B. shot a match low 34. Freshman Danielle O. also shot an impressive 45. The Lady Hornet golfers will be back in action Wednesday evening against Boone High School at Dubsdread Golf Course.

Girls’ Volleyball Takes Down Lake Highland

The girls’ volleyball team (3-0) defeated rival Lake Highland Prep last night 3-1. Scores of the match were: 20-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-20. Top performers in the game were Shannon C. with 13 kills and 19 digs, Marlie M. with 11 kills, 13 assists, and 9 digs, and Grace R. with 34 assists and 9 digs.

JV Boys’ Golf Scores a Win

The JV Boys Golf Team defeated TFA with two BMCHS players shooting sub-40; Chris B. had a 36 and Jacob H. came in with a 38. The team scored a record team low of 156:

Football Triumphs Over Lyman

The rain and wet field could not hold back the Hornets from picking up their second win of the season. The Hornets’ Football Team (2-0) defeated Lyman High School 35-13. Lady Hornets’ VB powers through South Lake

The Lady Hornets’ Volleyball team (2-0) maintained their dominance with a convincing 3-0 win over South Lake High School. Game scores were 25-4, 25-13, 25-5. Cross Country boys and girls finish their first meet

Hornets win the ‘Battle of College Park’

The Battle of College Park was an electrifying night for the Hornets. On the first play of the game Caleb M. scored on a 45-yard pass from Connor S. This set the tempo for the Hornet offense which put up 21 points in the first quarter thanks to touchdowns by Jonathan M. and Trillion C.
