Berkey Premier Day 2 for Lady Hornets

Bishop Moore defeated host Berkeley Prep 25-14, 25-19 to advance to the semifinals of the Berkeley Premier Tournament. Katie K. had 7 kills and 1 dig in the Hornet win. Bishop Moore defeated Tampa Robinson, 25-13, 25-14. Katie K. and Lauren D. lead the way offensively with 6 kills each. Next up for the Hornets is Berkeley Prep Saturday at 12:15.

Girls JV Volleyball “Clean the World”

The Bishop Moore JV girls volleyball team took advantage of their day off, and volunteered at Clean the World. Clean the World recycles soaps and other hygiene products, and packages them; sending them to disaster relief areas, along with 3rd world countries.  

Lady Hornets Rebound with District Win over Tavares

Bishop Moore defeated Tavares 3-0, 25-6, 25-6, 25-14. Katie K. lead the hornets with 7 kills on 9 attempts, hitting .778. Samantha K. added 9 digs, and Lauren R. added 7 digs in the Hornet victory. The JV won in 2 games as well.

Hornet Swimmers Defeat Winter Springs

Boys Golf Competes at Titan Invite at Hammock Beach

The varsity boys golf team competed in the prestigious Titan Invitational held over two days at the Hammock Beach Ocean and Conservatory courses.  The Hornets played some steady golf but came up a bit short.  Day one low rounds for the team were Davis H. and Palmer L. with 75.  On day two, Nicholas D.

Hornet Cross Country Teams finsish 3rd at Lake Minneola

Saturday was another great day for Bishop Moore Cross Country! Both boys and girls teams placed 3rd overall out of 15 teams. Ashley M. PR’ed with a 21:32 and placed 7th overall. James R. PR’ed with a 17:20 and placed 9th overall! 13 PR’s for the team!!
