Lady Hornets Fall in 5 to Boone

Bishop Moore traveled to Boone for a Friday night match and the hosts defeated the Hornets in 5 games 25-19, 17-25, 25-18, 16-25, 15-12. Shannon C.finished with 16 kills for Bishop Moore (13-3).

Hornets Beat South Lake for District Win 34-7

Bishop Moore started slow in a drizzling rain to defeat district foe South Lake 34-7. Rayshad L. started the scoring with a 92 punt return. Jake kicked the extra point. Collin H. followed up with a 1 run Jake kicked the extra point again, Jake followed that up with a 47 field goal before the half. C

Girls Volleyball gets another District Win

The girls varsity volleyball team continued it’s winning ways with a 3 set victory over Poinciana 25-8, 25-5, and 25-8. The Lady Hornets were led by Lauren R. with 7 digs and 2 aces to along with 9 kills for Maddie B.

Boys/Girls Bowling Beats Boone

The boys and the girls bowling teams defeated Boone at the Colonial Lanes. The girls won 1937 to 1602 and the boys 2694 to 2676. The girls were led by Kaylee T. with a 491 series and the boys by Daniel B. with a 671 series.

Boys/Girls Swimming Defeats Apopka

The boys and girls swim teams defeated Apopka at the College Park Pool. The girls won 106-64 and were led by Erin T. with a time 2:19.83 in the 200 free while the obys won 114-56 and wer led by Ben V. with a 1:13.14 in the 100 breast stroke.

Boys Golf Earns 2 More Victories

The Hornets continued their winning ways by defeating both Orangewood Christian and Masters Academy (131-159-155).  Sophomores Ignacio A. and Nicholas D. shot even par 31 at Winter Pines to lead the way.

Hornets Boys Varsity Golf beats Foundation

Bishop Moore boys golf continued their win streak by defeating Foundation Academy 161-165 at historic Dubsdread.  The Hornets were led by Ignacio A.’s one under par 34.

Boys Golf Edges TFA

The Hornets defeated TFA in a dual match at Metrowest by a score of 152-157.  The Hornets were led by Ignacio A’s. even par 36.  The team improves to 5-2 on the season.
