Hornets Notch 6-1 tennis wins over Lake Mary Prep

The Bishop Moore boys and girls tennis teams defeated the home team Griffins from Lake Mary Prep 6-1. The boys fell behind early as Nick S lost 3-8 at line one.  But fellow freshmen Edwin B (8-2), Lance D (8-2) and Georgos J (8-1) all picked up singles wins at lines two, four and five.

The Bishop Moore Hornets Varsity baseball defeated Lake Howell 2-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Sonny R. induced a groundout to finish off the game. The Bishop Moore Hornets Boys’ Laccrosse team moved to 1-0 in District play, 2-1 overall, after a 17-2 win over The First Academy. 9 different players scored for the Hornets: Jake K.
