Boys’ Golf Finishes as State Runner Up

The Bishop Moore boys’ golf team tied for second with two-time defending champion Plantation American Heritage, finishing 15 strokes behind the winner Ponte Vedra. The Hornets were led by seniors Nicholas D., who shot eight over par and tied for seventh, and Ignacio A., who tied for 11th at 11 over par. Congratulations Hornet Golfers!

BMC Golfers In the Hunt for a State Championship

As the three day competition continues, the Bishop Moore Golf teams are positioning themselves to capture a state title.  

Boys’ Golf Brings Home Regional Championship

The Hornets took home the regional golf title behind medalist honors of Ignacio A’s even par 71.  BMC scores a 297 and advances to next week’s state tournament at Mission Inn.

Boys’ Golf Brings Home District Title

The Bishop Moore Hornets Boys’ Golf Team won the district title behind an even par performance of Sophomore Brad H’s 70.  The team shot 289 to runner-up Seabreeze’s 322. The Hornet golfers move on to regional play.

Boys’ Varsity Golf Finishes the Regular Season on a Win

In super tough conditions Wednesday afternoon, the Hornets Boys’ Varsity golf team finished the regular season off with a close 165-167 victory over Lake Highland. The boys are now headed into the playoffs, where they hope to make another run at the state title. The JV Boys’ Golf team lost to Lake Highland 186-177.  

Hornet Boys’ Golfers Win the Qdoba Tournament of Champions

The Hornets Boys Varsity Golf Team won the Qdoba Tournament of Champions by three strokes over Ponte Vedra and American Heritage.  On day two, the team was led by Nicholas D’s 73. JV Boys’ Golf Drops a Match to Winter Park

The Bishop Moore JV Boys’ Golf team lost to Winter Park High School 171-150 Monday afternoon. Scores for the Hornets were: David L. -41, Jacob H. -43, Jack L. -43, Nick A. -44, Kris B. -44, Henry M. -51.
