Boys Golf Edges TFA

The Hornets defeated TFA in a dual match at Metrowest by a score of 152-157.  The Hornets were led by Ignacio A’s. even par 36.  The team improves to 5-2 on the season.

Boys Golf gets wins over TFA, Dr Phillips

The Varsity Hornets defeated TFA and Dr.Phillips at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club.  The Hornets fired a 313 to TFA’s 325 and Dr. Phillips 344.  Bishop Moore’s Davis H. shot 75 to lead the way.

Hornets Fall Short at Interlachen

Bishop Moore lost a close match to Winter Park and Lake Highland.  The Hornets shot a 156 to Lake Highland’s 155 and Winter Park’s 150.  The Hornets were led by Nicholas D. who shot 37.

Boys Golf Finish 2nd in TFA Invitational

The Hornets played solid down the stretch at the First Academy Invitational to bring home the runner-up trophy.  Bishop Moore was led by Davis H.’s 76. Boys Golf Competes at Titan Invite at Hammock Beach

The varsity boys golf team competed in the prestigious Titan Invitational held over two days at the Hammock Beach Ocean and Conservatory courses.  The Hornets played some steady golf but came up a bit short.  Day one low rounds for the team were Davis H. and Palmer L. with 75.  On day two, Nicholas D.

Hornets Finish 3rd in Invitational

The Bishop Moore varsity boys golf team had a solid finish by placing 3rd in the annual Bishop Moore Catholic Invitational.  The Hornets were led by Nicholas D. and Palmer L.’s 77’s. Final results are: Olympia 302 Lake Highland 307 Bishop Moore 314 Winter Park 318 Boone 325 Apopka 332 The First Academy 332 Dr.

Hornets defeat Edgewater in Boys Golf

Bishop Moore defeated Edgewater in an 18 hole match at Dubsdread.  Team totals   — Bishop Moore 307 to Edgewater’s 353.  Medalist and Bishop Moore low was Nicholas D. with a 72.  Edgewater was led by Cale W. 81.

Boys Golf performs well in Rain Shortened Tourney

In the rain shortened Winter Park Invitational, the Hornet boys team kept their hot streak alive by placing in a tie for third at 3 over par.  This event featured the top teams in the area.  Davis H. tied for medalist honors with a two under total but lost in scorecard playoff and finished with

The Bishop Moore Hornet boys golf team kicked off the season with a 9 hole match against The First Academy on Monday, August 24 at Shingle Creek.  The Hornets defeated the Royals in a close one with a score of 151-154.  The Hornets were led by returning letter winners Davis H. (’17) and Nicholas D.
