First Week of Summer Camps

The first week of the Hornet athletic camps brought 80 football campers, 75 boys basketball campers and another 30 girls basketball campers to the campus of Bishop Moore. Girls’ Basketball Season Ends in the Region Semifinal

The Bishop Moore Girls’ basketball team saw its season come to an end in a hard fought battle Tuesday night at Leesburg High School 55-67. Morgan D. scored a team high 35 points, while Reilly B. added another 10 points. Congratulations Hornets on a very successful season!

Girls’ Basketball Advances Past Rockledge in the Region Quarterfinal

The Bishop Moore Girls’ basketball team defeated Rockledge High school on the road Thursday night 58-47. Morgan D. scored 19 points, Reilly B. scored 11 points, and Eliza S. scored 11 points. The Hornets play in the region Semifinal at Leesburg on Tuesday at 7:00.

Girls’ Basketball Falls Short in District Final 50-58 to Leesburg

The Bishop Moore Girls’ Basketball team came up short Friday night in the district final 50-58 to Leesburg High School. As district runner-up the Lady Hornets will advance to the region quarterfinal match Thursday 2/9 away at 7:00 pm.

Girls’ Basketball Defeats Father Lopez 41-34

The Bishop Moore Girls’ Basketball team defeated Father Lopez Thursday night 41-34. Morgan D. had 20 points and Jesse B. shut down the opponent’s main scorer and finished with 9 points. This was the final game of the regular season. The Lady Hoopsters will open up the first round of districts Tuesday evening at 5:30.

Girls’ Basketball Takes Down Lake Nona

Monday night the Bishop Moore girls’ basketball team defeated Lake Nona 54-41. In the first quarter the Hornets were down, but made an amazing comeback. The Bishop Moore Girls’ Basketball team (14-3) made a dominating defensive showing over South Lake High School Thursday night. The 52-15 final was highlighted by Taylor B.’s 9 points and Maggie J.’s 7 points. The Hornets will be back on the court Saturday at 1:30 at Master’s Academy as they take on rival Lake Highland

The Bishop Moore Girls’ Basketball team ruled the court Tuesday night against Tavares High School. The Hornets dominated the game with a final score of 71-41.Kelly R. had 19 points for Bishop Moore and Morgan D. added 17.
